i dont really believe in it but now and again i get a nagging fear of "what if we're all wrong and it is true" and boom big lighting rods and earthquakes come and shatter us all and i think damn and i almost beat jah on this one .

its so silly i know im right about my decison to leave the dubs but they psychologicaly messed with us for so long sometimes your like woah what if theyre right!.

Not really... It's kind of pointless for God to make armagedon scary cause aren't we gonna be dead after that? Kind of just a flaunt of power if he's gonna kill everybody in a holy array of asteroids and holy angels when they ain't even gonna remember it the next minute.

Can somebody answer this... If you love yourself and your neighbor are you still going to die? If you are, I sure as hell don't want to be with the God that kills loving people.

Jehovahs Witness Double Standards

the society said in past issues of the watchtower that reading "apostate" literature is just as bad as reading pornography,here is where a double standard comes into play.a person can't be disfellowshipped for reading pornography,but can for reading other literature.i don't get that.also they claim that music is a conscience matter,yet how long could a brother or sister listen to a great gospel tape or cd before being disfellowshipped?if a man grew a beard you think that they would be treated well at the kingdom hall?one last thing,if the society wasnt promoting the 1975 date,and never said it,then why were there not loads of disfellowshippings before the failed date for apostasy by promoting a false date?these are just a few of the many double standards that i have observed.god bless you all.

Like how we are the happiest people in the world. Then when we aren't happy it's because of the world. Which most JWs aren't happy so I guess most JWs are worldly. Dunno if that's a double standard just something that's stupid about the religion.

lol I doubt I'll view life less than life just because I've been out of an organization for a while. Feel deeply that every child should have a chance; doubt that's so wrong and cult inspired. But of course I know we don't live in those days that's why I'm pretty much pro-choice. Lol I know some of the people here would hate it if they weren't born. Of course you wouldn't know but oh well.

for the 33 years that i was a j-ho,the central theme of discussion among active jehovah's witnesses was their inescapable mortality.here i am 47 years old and the onset and onrush of middle-age can be overwhelming and devastating.

when they die they don't go to heaven.many like myself,squandered our youth for the watchtower.years of are vital prime spent in the borg are gone now forever.

Danny has always offended me in ways unimaginable. But hey after a while I got use to him and got a good chuckle out of his logic threads and posts. Plus gotta give him credit for taking something to heart and acting on it. Most of us can't even have that nice atribute to our names. We're usually going along in the crowd and not taking initiative. However, when I look at Danny I feel like I can save the world lol.
